You can do more than that, but there's a finite limite on how much your hub can export, and anyway you'll be hard pressed to even use that much. (Lots of people use Salt Flats because it's big and open, but with no natural thorium it can be difficult to power all the launch pads you'll want) I've found you'll want your distribution hub to be importing maybe 1000 or 2000/min of basic resources, and 300-500/min of more complex ones. Next, set up launch pads to easily ship all resources to a central distribution hub. Overdrive projectors and plastanium belts can be immensely useful in bumping up production and conveyor bandwidth. Have each sector fully dedicated to mass producing just 1 or 2 resources.
